Steak & Cheese pie $5.50 Bacon quiche $5.50 Cream donut $3.50
The quiche had too much pastery, not enough filling. Double layered pastery, probably zero cheese. Closer to a bacon and egg pie?? There is a specific cheese to egg ratio to make it a quiche. At least the birds liked it, cause I didnt. Not impressed for the price. Was so excited to slam back a Sunday quiche... fail!
Steak and cheese pie was a nice and hearty!! The gravey was delicious, not jelly, liked it a lot. My only complaint is bakeries tend to cheap out on cheese, once again. More of a steak pie but good.
Cream donut was yummy, just a bit small.
Really wanted to like this place as itās closer to where I live and parking was easy on a Sunday.
Drive a few extra kās down to the french bakery in Mt Eden Village and you will get the same food at the same prices but a lot better. And they make an awsome quiche, though parking can be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSuper duper agree with one of the reviews. Lady in the bakery over-charges. Bought hot chips and mushroom cheese chicken pie, charged $9.00. Couldnt be bothered arguing, was on my break...didnt have much time left. But wont be stopping here again. The pie was just filled with gravy hardly any pieces of meat, very salty. Chips was old and seemed like they were leftovers and re-fried. All the crusty end bits of chips. Unsatisfied lunch make me not happy. Still dont understand $9.00....thought would be because of the area Mt Eden. People on here giving them good reviews...

It was as if baled by a French pastry chef. The perfect crust with just the right light buttery crunch. And the steak chunks are well prepared nice and tender. Beautiful people and...
