Company booking for the week. Quite a lot of us. Returned to my room after a long, tiring day to find my room wasn’t serviced. I keep my room tidy and organised out of habit, but rushing out in the morning there were inevitable areas, that would need wiped (kitchen counter for example). I took some photos and went to reception. (Not attached here). The staff member was genuinely apologetic and offered to clean it then but as a lone staff member, I told her it wasn’t necessary. The next day it was done, but still well below par. My company utilised the breakfast packs and they were hideous. There’s no dairy’s or supermarkets nearby and we were taking Ubers to the city and back, so it wasn’t convenient from that point. And no one wants to cook on a work week away with meetings all week. Although the charge back is great with some local places. The bathroom was large, built in soap dispensers etc - I don’t use but my colleagues mentioned theirs were either empty or didn’t work - so if you rely on that, you might want to take things with you. I appreciated having the washing machine and drier, and the air conditioner unit was great. Some of my colleagues that live rurally found it noisy, but I wasn’t aware of it. The reception staff were really friendly and helpful. I can’t understand why they say ‘business lamp and desk’ because it wasn’t really suitable for work. I also found the internet a bit sluggish so used my own data. Really liked the charge back with local restaurants if you’ve got the energy to go out

The hotel is good but the little things make a difference: fridge icebox so iced no space, rusty bin in bathroom, cooking utensils very limited, studio smaller than expected that is website misleading. Some shops within 300 metres but no restaurant facilities on site. It is alright for say a two day business visit but not great for our expected 14 days! Close to Mercy Hospital Mountain Road. Not to far to walk but up a steep hill. Not a Hotel I would select again but it will suit many with different circumstances. Quest has taken 3 months to respond to my comments - not very timely. I feel it necessary to say my comments were from a customer perspective and I stand by them. I was certainly forthright in my discussions with Staff but this was not rude and at no time did I abuse Staff or use bad language. Furthermore disclosing customer circumstances and information is not in my view very appropriate. The issue for me is that advertising led us to expectations that were not matched by what was offered. I did say that the Quest would suit many. On this occasion it did not meet our needs for a 14 day plus stay. A picture saves a thousand words! See attached.

Very comfortable, centrally located and cozy place. Exceeded our expectations. Had a complete kitchenette with all the cutleries we were delighted to see there was a washing machine, dryer and even a dishwasher. The alarm clock beside the bed doubled as a wireless charger which was very impressive. Overall a comfortable stay. Only cons were: 1. The TV remote didn't have batteries. Didn't bother to get batteries from reception. 2. Parking- booked through expedia so didn't know we had to reserve parking beforehand. There were some on street parking around the block however which cost only 50cents an hour from 8am to 6pm.

Only an overnight stay for us. The studio apartment was very clean and spacious. It did come with a washer & dryer. Sadly for me the actual sleep was very uncomfortable. I don’t mind a firm bed but the mattress on the queen bed seemed of poor quality. It says it’s a pillow top but I could feel the springs so did not have a good sleep. The other reason for my not so good sleep was also probably due to the fact that you can hear vaults clearly all the movements that go on out in the hallways throughout the night. For me as a female who checked in just before 8pm, I found the current after hours check in process to be one that is not ideal. The main entry to the hotel is down a side street that is poorly lit. Rather than providing you with a temporary security code either in your booking or even over a private phone call. You are instead required to go to the main entrance door (again that is down a side street), press the bell button that calls through to someone who by the way had their kids running around screaming in the background making it difficult to hear what she was saying. Not the kids fault, but you would think the person who answered the call would have either moved to somewhere more quiet. The exchange is done over intercom which is so loud that you would have no trouble hearing the exchange from 50m away. It is in this exchange that you are provided your PIN code to collect your key for your room. Rather than just doing a quick booking confirmation and identity check, you are instead made to stand outside the door (remember this is at night and down a not very well lit up side street) exchanging information. You are then given your personal code for the safe that is inside the doors that anyone up to 50m away can hear. You’re finally let in the door and can proceed to get your key from the safe which by the way also had two other peoples room keys and instructions in. IF YOU HAVE A CAR it is important to book you a carpark for your stay. It does cost extra but you have to pay for parking on all the surrounding streets anyway. Personally I did not like the fact that you have no way other than getting out of your car to open the roller door to get into the car park. Not too big of a deal but had it been raining I would not have been happy. Again the room was very nice and clean and spacious and had a lovely view of a courtyard for a business centre next door. Not sure if I would...

I booked a room here with my daughter. When I booked the room, I told the hotel that our flight from Australia was arriving at 11.30pm on 12.8.2023 and that we would not be at the hotel until around 1.00am on the 13.8.2023, and received an email confirming our booking, with Check In showing as from 12.00am 13.8.2023. When we arrived and buzzed the night staff, they told us we did not have a booking for the night, after much tooing and froing with the people in the hole in the wall, I asked to speak to the Manager myself. She turned up a few minutes later and said that we could not have made a booking to check in at 12.00am, I pointed out that we had and had received confirmation from the Hotel confirming same. She advised that they had no rooms available, and as we were getting nowhere we asked her to see if she could at least find us a room to stay in for the rest of the night (the alternative was to sleep in our car in the street), she went and made a phone call, spoke in her own language (not english) which is the height of rudeness and came back after some time to say that she had spoken to a colleauge who agreed that we could not have made a booking for the time we did. By that time I was pretty angry and still without somewhere to sleep for the night. We called around ourselves and managed to find a hotel with a 24hr reception that had a room about 15 minutes away. So service was actually disgusting, fancy leaving 2 women out on the street in the middle of the night, talking to a hole in the wall. The room we ended up with the next day was fine, and they did send an email apologising for the mistake on their part and refunded the first nights accommodation, which btw was $400 less that what we had to pay for another room at short notice. I would not stay here again simply because...

Such a bad experience!!!

My partner and I booked the studio for one night, we arrived there in the evening and we couldn’t get ourselves in as the doors were locked so we had to call someone at the door and he said someone will come down shortly, then a lady came downstairs wearing her pyjamas to check us in.

Upon entering the room we immediately realised that the website was “misleading” and the studio was smaller than it appeared on the website plus we didn’t have a washing machine and dryer as the pictures showed nor did w get the shower that the picture showed.

The next morning after having a shower and changing before checking out the cleaner walks into the room and she saw my partner “fully naked” so I immediately rushed out and asked why did she walk in when I had called the receptionist earlier that morning and asked for a later check out, she then stated that no one notified her and that her roaster had not been updated.

When I checked out and asked the receptionist confirming that I spoke to her that morning and asked her for the later check out and if she contacted housekeeping she then said yes and when I told her about the issue she then said it’s their fault and that she did contact housekeepers.

This is absolutely disgusting that someone else had to see my partner naked in our private hotel room and staff throwing blame around not taking responsibility. We are Muslim and seeing my partners body like that is a big issue for us, imagine if it was a man housekeeper things would’ve got even...
