I wanted to share some feedback about my recent visit to the Mount BurgerFuel location last night. I had placed an order for a 6:00 PM pickup, but unfortunately didn’t receive it until nearly 6:30 PM. I was repeatedly told it would be “4 more minutes,” which made the delay more frustrating.
While most of the staff were friendly and doing their best under pressure, I was concerned to see the manager visibly stressed and raising their voice at team members. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere for both staff and customers.
To top it off, when I got home, I found that my fries were still frozen in the middle — I had to cook them in the air fryer just to make them edible.
I’m a fan of BurgerFuel and usually have great experiences, so I was disappointed this time. I hope this feedback is helpful and that the team gets the support they need to maintain the quality and service your...
Read moreAfter waiting for over 30mins for two Kumara fries and chicken we were provided with the wrong order which also had strict instructions no Aioli. When the order was swapped for two Kumara fries that had been sitting there a while, our order was very cold. The food smelled funky as well which includes the chicken which all is in the trash. Upon waiting I noticed unpractical food practices from two of the girls using their fingers to take individual fries from awaiting fries boxes while touching a screen without washing their hands in between. As someone who worked in the food industry I was always advised to wear gloves when handling food to prevent food poisoning between screens such as a phone, wiping your hands off their shorts. There was no good practice of food hygiene here. We used to enjoy the food here and have told people good things but after tonight we might as well...
Read moreMy first time at Burger Fuel wasn’t the best experience. I ordered the Bacon BBQ Roadster burger, and while waiting for my food, I noticed that the cashier, in addition to receiving and handing out orders, was also answering the phone, frying the chips, changing the rubbish bags, and cleaning the tables. While it’s understandable that staff may have to multitask, I find the potential for cross-contamination with food quite concerning. I commend the worker and the cook who were doing the best they could, but the management of the branch should really consider hiring more staff and paying attention to these details, as they could lead to more serious consequences. This happened on a Saturday around 10 p.m., and not even with the...
