I didn't visit this place I was just looking for surf. It was onshore and over crowded. Ended up surfing at Papāmoa where it was onshore and I was alone. It's nice to be alone with the ocean. But technically you are not alone because you are connected to every thing that is connected to the water. Via rivers you're connecting to the mountains. If water is inside my body it becomes part of my body for a while. So when I am in the water I must therefore become the water. I love this planet we're hurtling through space on.

Small mountain/hill near the main beach in Mount Maunganui. There are toilets at the base on two ends of the park and a playground near one of them. You can walk up the path to get to the other side. There is a flower garden by the beach end but it was being dug up when I was there in the winter.

This lovely park lies on a grassy hill covered with beautiful pohutukawa trees. A loop path starts from Marine Parade and winds to the summit of the hill, a beautiful walk! From the top of the hill are great views of the area.

A Beautiful Reserve overlooking Mt Maunganui Beach. Very old trees which are fantastic. One should walk Up and Over to see the Tauranga Harbour. Great place to Relax and watch the World go By. 😃

The best spot for sun, sand, waves and awesome. There's food carts near by for ice cream, kebabs and other great options. There's a surf school near by too.

I love this place. Very beautiful. U can come for rest. U can enjoy with view. U can chill here. Very clear. I loveeee it 😍😍😍❤️🇳🇿🇳🇿🇳🇿
