if you take the review as denigration I'm even more convinced that there is a huge problem with the service attitude in this shop.
If it wasn't for the extremely bad attitude that caused my anger I wouldn't think there was any problem with redoing a plate. But the owner's exact words were to call the police if you don't.
After questioning the food, the restaurant served the remaining half of the dish and gave a 3% or 6% discount on the dish at the checkout. Is that what you call a discount? Is it intentionally disgusting to apologise for a few tens of cents or are you short of money in the current economic downturn? If you can only get less than 10% off for serving the remaining half of the dish then I think the price of the dish should be reduced to 1/10th of the original price on the menu.
I paid my money and questioned the beef in the dish, why didn't I have the right to continue eating it during your enquiry?
After I questioned it the shop even brought out brand new fresh beef out of the pan for the rest of the shop to taste to prove that there was nothing wrong with the beef. The absurdity of this practice baffles me. If you are so confident in your dish why didn't you ask the waiter and chef to taste my plate in person?
The following is the original text: I was shocked by the service in this shop, I have never seen such chutzpah.
There was a huge foul flavour present in the beef which made me suspect that it was extremely unfresh meat. Speaking to the service staff, both the waiter and the owner displayed an extremely poor service attitude and stated that there was something wrong with the tastebuds and brains of the diners.
I seriously suspect that this is a differentiation between tourists and locals and even racist behaviour. The attitude of the waiters made me feel that they were the customers and I was the chef.
If you are very hungry then I highly recommend you to dine at this restaurant, you can get a full meal for a very low price - half from the food and the other half...
Read moreThe service at this restaurant completely shocked me; I have never encountered such arrogance and disrespect. The beef reeked of a nauseating foul odor, clearly indicating that it was extremely unfresh. When I raised this concern with the staff, both the waiter and the owner showed no remorse whatsoever. Instead, they mocked the diners, claiming the issue lay with our tastebuds and brains.
What’s more infuriating is that I strongly suspect a discriminatory attitude toward tourists compared to locals, possibly even racist behavior. The way the staff treated us made me feel like I was the “chef” and they were the “customers” sitting in judgment.
On top of this, the restaurant’s hygiene was appalling. The tables were sticky, and the utensils still had food residue left on them. Such poor conditions, combined with the rude service, made this an unforgettable nightmare of a dining experience.
If you’re absolutely starving, perhaps you can consider dining here—but be prepared: your meal comes at a very low price, half of which is the food and the other half the rage and disappointment you’ll leave with. Never again, and I strongly advise others to...
Read moreMy friends and I just visited Easy go Thai, and let’s just say we were served a beef mystery that even Sherlock Holmes couldn’t solve.
The beef was… suspicious. Like, ‘left in the fridge and forgotten during the last Ice Age’ kind of suspicious. So, we raised our concerns, but the staff assured us it was “cut daily.” Daily what? Daily disappointment?
Things got juicier when the owner arrived. They promised a ‘head chef taste test,’ which honestly sounded more like a cooking reality show twist than customer service. But here’s the best part—if we disagreed, we were told we could call 111. Not sure if that was a genuine offer or a comedy bit, but no one dialed 111, and instead, we were simply asked to pay or face a hostage situation (okay, they didn’t say ‘hostage,’ but you get the vibe).
In conclusion, if you like your beef fresh and your dining experiences even fresher in drama, this place is worth a shot. Just bring a phone with quick-dial to 111, you know,...
