Wow this place is a gem. I had pistachio ice cream, my other half had a flat white flavour scoop and a vegan chocolate scoop. All creamy, delicious and the flat white flavour was exactly like a flat white but refreshing and creamy. More unusual but very exciting was that they do pastries for fika! Fika (fee ka) is a Swedish thing, like morning tea but coffee, pastries, and ideally with a proper sit down, take your time, and chat. Oh my goodness, we got a cardamom scroll and a filled donut to have later. Both delicious, substantial and tasted of quality ingredients- no fake cream or jelly here, this was real raspberry, vanilla bean custard, and in the scroll you could really taste the cardamom and I think cinnamon, so it wasn’t overly sweet, but very delicious. Absolute joy of an experience, I ordered:

mushroom toastie, which had vegan cheese in it, fantastic 🌟, very large portion, so would recommend for breakfast rather than snack. They also offered a takeaway container as well, which is great if you can't finish it in one go

3 words - HOT DOG SANDWICH! A small part of me doesn't want other people to know about this place, otherwise the queues and therefore the wait time might get longer, but that would be really selfish and unfair on these guys. The owners and staff are genuinely nice people with a great sense of customer service, but the ''toasted'' sandwiches are the real surprise. Ice Cream - big tick, Coffee - big tick, Doughnuts - big tick, but the sandwiches are superb (and the Hot Dog Sandwich in particular is like no other you will have had).
