Flaveur Breads — Restaurant in Bay of Plenty

Flaveur bread is yummy, so I ordered the family-value pack from the website and attempted to arrange home delivery. When the bread didn't turn up I contacted Flaveur. At first they seemed helpful, but after determining the bread was delivered to the wrong house, they decided to refund the money rather than supply the bread. Sounds okay, but I had been intending to set up a fortnightly delivery and wanted the bread, not the refund. Instead they decided they would not supply me in future so as "not to further disappoint me". I'm not quite certain how they arrived at this being the non-disappointing solution. It surely would have been easier instead to fulfill the offer advertised on the website and deliver to the right house next time. Its offensive to be blacklisted for delivery through no fault of your own. There was no angry exchange with them. Their response is very strange - to deny a willing and potentially long term customer because they made a mistake and don't want to risk making...

I used to love the gluten free seeded sourdough and it was sold fresh. In fact if it was not baked that morning it was half price. Now I'm finding that the Tauranga and Mount Maunganui bakeries are selling old bread. Even today I went to pick up what I thought was a today's bake in Tauranga only to check the expiry dates. One was two days away and the other four. The assistant couldn't even answer when I queried why the supposed fresh breads had two different use by dates and why it wasn't today's bread. The Mount Maunganui branch was selling week-old bread last time I went there. So I will find...

I was told about this bakery....and today managed to get there....small shop but really only a slight understatement of the quality of their products. Firstly their almond croissants are to die for.
