Took my Best friend out for dinner ,,- special evening for a great friend. The head of house an elderly lady with a long very unsuitable dress on was at the reception .she long just looked out of place and frumpy but her manners are totally lacking . I was not greeted, nor was I asked anything, I had to advise I had a booking, which upon I was told follow me. No pleasantries but I was told you will need to vacate your table by 7pm. I hadn’t even sat down! I arrived at 5.30pm, my friend a bit after me The elderly woman, front of house gave the worst service , she is frankly to grouchy to be in such a position. The food and drink served by the other wait staff were very pleasant . The younger woman should be front of house as she is very professional and courteous ! As the restaurant got busy of course it takes time to be served , we could not fault the food or drink. Simply superb . We didn’t need to ask for the bill , it was almost thrown on our table and we were told to vacate as others were waiting . By you guessed it- the old gal. Honestly we were rushed out , why not offer an outdoor table as many were vacant and no reserve sign on them . And please , this woman needs to learn some manners . . Our dinner , drinks and extras was close to $170 . It was worth it but the poor service is not acceptable. I must say the old gal really should not be serving customers , she has no skill with face to face contact or customer service skills . We will both be advising anyone not to come to Macau while they have...
Read moreATTENTION THE MANAGEMENT OF MACAU BAR& KITCHEN: With the impression that your kitchen will be a nice place to dine out with family on a Sunday evening, I booked a table in advance today ( 09/01/2022). On arrival, the receptionist confirmed table A7 for us. But , to our horror a bunch of bouncers there stopped us and insisted to show our ID cards. Myself , wife and daughter were there. We said our daughter is a major and not a kid and requested to let us in. But, one Mr. Akash behaved very rudely and denied entry. He was so brash and headstrong that he even challenged to complain to anybody. Dear Management team, do you want your patrons to carry the ID cards of their wives and daughters before setting out to dine at your kitchen? We came there to just have some food , nothing else. When the parents themselves bring their adult daughter to enjoy a family dining together, why your bouncers worry about ID cards? Pls train your staff esp. frontline staff controlling entry to be courteous to the customers. They should apply common sense and see the group before insisting ID cards in a foolish way. Such irresponsible and rude staff will destroy your kitchen’s reputation and it will be no surprise to see downfall of your kitchen if you deploy such staff. We are now in some other nice Restaurent in Jubilee Hills, though with a spoiled mood because of our bitter experience at the entrance of your Kitchen. Pls . wake up and take corrective action so that no other customer suffers the way we...
Read moreCame here for a celebratory dinner (we'd just bought a house) and left a little disappointed. Generally, it's over-priced and the quality of the food is uneven. Small dishes: Neither of us liked the very bland kimchi balls with mayonnaise, but we did like the beans. Big dish: Beef cheeks were good, although very expensive. Drinks: Good George beer was excellent. Main problem was service. Waiter asked what we thought of kimchi balls and we told him the truth. He apologised profusely and repeatedly (every time he walked past) to the point it became awkward. Then he stuffed up our order. He talked us out of ordering two big dishes ("they're big enough for two people") so we cancelled our order for the pork belly. Our order: Beef cheeks and two bowls of rice. Female waitress brought us: beef cheeks, pork belly and one bowl of rice. Arrgggh! Then there was much tooing and frooing from our tables as this was sorted out. Also had quite a bit of trouble getting attention from waiter/waitress through the evening. We'll probably return, however, as they might have just had an off night and we might find dishes we like other than just the cheeks through...
