Pita Pit sets the right standard for Timaru food outlets in every way. Vital of course to nail the food taste and freshness- and that target: gets bulls-eyed each time! Read moreBeen coming here for over 6 years now. In that time the place has started to show its age and appears a little worse for wear. The food is OK - as expected for a pita pit. But on my last visit there (Dec 2022) there was a single person working who was busy with an existing order which meant a longer than usual wait until they were free and I got my order taken and once made it came as a pretty soggy item and overall very so-so. Two female staff on were doing their absaloute best and it's to be commended. Id think from a business perspective youd hire a third staff member for the dinner rush.
