Carl's Jr. Bush Inn — Restaurant in Christchurch

Today I went to get a chicken tender combo with chilli cheese fries and hot chocolate for the drink which is my usual order. The Indian lady at the till who worked at 1:21 pm asked me if I need coffee when I ordered for hot chocolate. At last when I received the order, the hot chocolate tasted like nothing but hot water, no gravy for the chilli cheese fries and not even half quantity in the box. I took a take away and out of hunger I had no other option than to have that meal like that but I felt so stupid getting treated like this. I bought this fast food when I had no time or no other options but I had better experience from the Hornby Carl's Jr comparatively. I felt like you guys don't even know what customer service is or you don't train your staff enough. Because the way you serve food is like 'you bought it with your money and I'm taking it for free.' I worked hard for my food and I payed the whole amount so I expect to get treated fairly with the service, food quantity and quality. So I expect the company do something about this as someone who have worked in customer service and hospitality industry, I know this is certainly not the way customers need to...

A very unhygienic experience. Disclaimer, this is not an ad for head and shoulders. It can be itchy when it’s hot, but I don’t think scratching your head and touching my burger is appetising in any way. I was the only customer that arrived at the time it was quiet and after I placed my order I stood and watched the preparer of my burgers scratch her oily hair with her oily gloves and grab my burger buns. I ordered three burgers and all touched by the same contaminated gloves. I had told the counter what I saw and had to remind her the gloves needed to be changed. The preparer told the counter that she had not started making the burgers then proceeded with the same buns. My family had to microwave our dandruff burgers to kill the bacteria. P.S Jim Beam is still the best burger...

On the 14/02/22 at 2030 I witnessed a few people being turned away of being served saying to customers “sorry we are closing.” While ordering they only gave us the option to takeaway when there was still people eating indoors at the time. My friends and I witnessed two staff to be unprofessional behind the till handing each other under their breathe remarks while serving us. When leaving with our food - they turned away multiple customers and their families with no good reason when it says on the door they close at 10pm Mon-Fri. They also locked the doors while Customers were still eating inside so others could not get in. Staff were very rude in informing people of the fact that they were closed. Saw a lot of disappointment faces today - but on a positive note the food...
