I recently had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at this Domino’s location, and I feel it's important to bring it to light. From the moment I entered, both myself and another customer were made to feel unwelcome, with clear signs of racial bias from certain staff members. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable in any service environment and should be addressed immediately.
Although there were more than four staff members present, only one seemed genuinely engaged in their work , meanwhile the others were seated, laughing, and ignoring their duties. Once we left, I observed them continuing to laugh together instead of focusing on the responsibilities at hand, such as cleaning the dining area and assisting other customers. This disregard for professionalism and basic customer service was appalling.
The store itself was in a shocking state of neglect. The tables were visibly dirty, and the overall cleanliness of the restaurant appeared to be neglected for an extended period. The food was equally disappointing, with chips that tasted stale, as if they had been sitting out all day. Additionally, the staff was unclear when providing pricing information, leading to confusion and frustration.
Given the overall lack of hygiene, unprofessional behavior, and racial undertones, I believe this location needs to be inspected by a health and safety professional. The condition of the store, both in terms of cleanliness and the quality of service, is unacceptable, and I would not be surprised if it posed a serious risk to public health. If management doesn’t take immediate action to address these issues, this location should be shut down.
If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. I would strongly advise against visiting this Domino's, and I sincerely hope that these concerns are taken seriously and resolved as soon...
Read moreOrdered pizza and it never came, checked door regularly for an hour and we are a back unit so no possibility it was taken. Called up to ask where it was and had the rude lady start to tell me their system said it was delivered and that I must be wrong or it had been stolen. We placed the order at 7.34pm and she insisted it was delivered at 7.41pm which is interesting that it was made and delivered within 7 minutes. She questioned why we had taken so long to call (the app never updated past “preparing” and there was no email or text confirmation for delivery which I had screenshot and explained to her, otherwise we would have called straight away), she then put me on hold to call driver who said he’d dropped it at our address. She was incredibly rude and refused to accept that maybe the driver had gone to the wrong house (I checked neighbours and other units). No offer of redelivery, no offer of refund, no sorry. No manager present so will wait till morning to take this further but this was a completely unacceptable response and service.
Update: Following the comment from the store telling me to get in contact I phoned today and they remained unapologetic and uncaring and said in order to even get a refund we had to drive to the store, making the inconvenience of this whole situation even more ridiculous. I gave them a fair and honest review and Management responded by offering us a voucher for two traditional pizzas, garlic bread and 1.5ltr bottle of coke. Just tried to redeem the voucher online as instructed only to be told our free voucher order does not meet the $22.00 delivery amount. Funny that , it is a free voucher after all. We phoned the Store and were told we have to ring the order through and pick it up. We are now living in Yaldhurst so rang the order through to the Hornby Branch only to be told they won’t accept it as original order was Carlton Mill. Voucher absolutely worthless.
