Dubba Deluxe — Restaurant in Christchurch

Went here get dinner, food is great, but the customer service the lady wearing Glasses and the guy with turban on, very very rude and disgusting how they both treat customer that they ask extra, is like when I ask for extra stuff in my food they both discussing in there own language before they respond to me, I’m standing there thinking, she serving me or talking to her coworker same time, the more I ask her how I want my food the more she responds very rude back, they don’t talk nice also like they have a bad mood how she ask us when walk in the door, she don’t have any manners at all she keeps saying I know! As I Already know what I want to order and I’m trying to explain her how I wanted my food don’t worry about extra I’m happy to pay, and she turn around other guy talking in there language so my question is who is paying for your salary?? and I go here all the time live the food just not the service, end up they guy told me we don’t care what you want, so I ask to speak to a manager she say she is the manger, so where did she get her training done as a manager you don’t know how to treat your customers with respect and in disgusting behaviour??but seems like they don’t care about the customer’s needs and wants. Very very poor customer service. The worker there named Navi was disgustingly rude and disrespectful to us, my friend ordered chips with no salt and he still put salt on them and upon asking for a batch without salt Navi just proceeded to put the salted chips back into the fryer and told us that the salt will fry off… which is the most ridiculous thing we have ever heard. We continued to ask him to make a new batch but kept being rude, pointing at us, cutting us off while we were talking and refusing until the manager or guy in charge told him to make a new batch. We then asked for the chips to be put in a container instead of a paper bag and he just didn’t want to do it, again until the manager told him to. The manager then came over to us and apologised but also said that sometimes we just have to “let things slide” which is unacceptable and wrong when we are paying our hard earned money for their products. Dubba Deluxe is our absolute favourite take away. Love love love. Usually, I visit the bush inn branch and they’re amazing in there - friendly, welcoming - a joy to interact with. Last night we visited the Moorhouse Ave branch - first and last. This is due to disgusting service from a man named Navi. Not only rude to us but rude to the other staff. His attitude is purely vile and uncalled for. We were charged more than the prices displayed, and when I queried this I was told “complain if you want to, that’s how the owner wants it.” I would go so far to say Navi was the rudest person I have come across for quite some time, and we left the restaurant feeling very upset about our exchange with this man.
