Booteek — Local services in Christchurch

I rarely leave reviews but Booteek is beyond 5 stars! This is not your typical overpriced vintage store. Everything is SUPER reasonably priced.

The owner is really kind, cool and chill. I was walking past with my wee pooch and they said we were fine to come in which is amazing. ❤️🦮 I had a couple things in the the fitting room and was still looking at clothes when I asked what time they closed. The owner said “technically now but it’s totally fine, you can keep looking and try them on first” which is beyond kind and they did not need to do at all!!! I got to leave with a special pink tee. 👚💕

They also sell on behalf of a few second-hand instagram stores which I thought was such a cool idea. Really supporting the thrifty Christchurch community!

Also the colour coordinated clothing racks set my soul on fire!! ❤️‍🔥

LOVE THIS PLACE! Joshua, the owner, is a friendly, kind and easy going guy that makes you feel at ease while trying these iconic pieces on. You can always count to find some great, diverse outfits (in a wide variety of styles) here and I really appreciate how everything is under $50. The clothes turnaround is very quick and the fanbase is strong, so it's worth checking out their instagram account (and turning notifications on) then heading over there quickly...

Really cute vintage and second hand shop. I have enjoyed looking around the few times I've been in. Is on the pricier side of second hand cloths but that's okay. My issue is it's never damn open everytime I go past and stop to look in it closed for 1 resone or another it's might just be my back luck but 2/10 time I want to shop/look around...
