It was so worth the wait! The food was beautiful. Highly recommend the signature bento box to get a mix of things to try. It was fresh, colourful and γŠγ„γ—γ„ (super tasty)! The miso was perfect to warm us up in the Autumn weather. Super sweet and lovely service. Cute wee store. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Friendly owners, on our way to Sumner we decided to try this new restaurant, ordered a Jyu and a Bendo. Surprised by the variety of ingredients in each box, especially love the freshly cooked crispy pork katsu, best in town! Salmon sushi used Akaroa salmon, with creamy and nutty avocado. Everything is so fresh and balanced flavor. Definitely will back here again!

Missus and myself went for brunch here. We tried their signature bento box and Pork Jyu. Food very delicious! Menu created thoughtfully and every flavour compliments every bite! You guys should be very proud. Owners/Operators very attentive and really takes care of you. Highly recommended and can’t wait to try the other dishes!

Friendly owners, on our way to Sumner we decided to try this new restaurant, ordered a Jyu and a Bendo. My first time experience was today. I had read reviews of this place and I had their Spicy Miso Mince and Vheese pie b- it was one of the best pies I have ever had. The pastry was light and perfectly golden brown. I also tried some Sushi. This was so fresh and excellent. I will be back to try their BentoBox. I think they are kinda quiet so please go discover them for yourself. If you like Japanese food, I know you will like this hidden out of the way...

Had the Nori-ben for takeaway today and heated up a minute in the microwave. Was so yummy! Little details from the burdock salad and daikon pickle that tasted so authentic, to a good Japanese signature deep fried karaage chicken and fish fillet. Most of all, the most impressive has to be the perfectly cooked rice for a rice lover. Absolutely beautiful food and...
