Hungry Wok — Restaurant in Christchurch

Ordered sweet and sour pork,lemon chicken and spring rolls on uber eats tonight... spring rolls were average and after the first few pieces of each meal it tasted extremely metallic and disgusting and left my partner and i going to brush our teeth to eliminate the taste from our mouths took ages to get the disgusting taste to go away, lemon chicken had little to no flavor we are Extremely dissapointed. Where do I start?? The wontons were old and stale, the sweet and sour pork was bitter and the pork tasted old and gross and the chicken and vegies had something not quite right in there which made such a bad taste I couldn't even get rid of it by drinking coke! I complete waste of money! I will never eat here again! If I wasnt rushing in between work and my work meeting I would have asked...

"You get what you pay for" fits perfectly in this. You can't really expect anything special from a self-service fast-food store. The quality and taste of the food has slightly diminished over the years, but remains enjoyable regardless. It's not a "I will be back" typa food of course, more "I'll get it if I want to". Veggies are seasoned well so that's a plus for a picky veggie eater...
