The Kebab King — Restaurant in Christchurch

Me & partner are souvlaki addicts & went there for our first time today. We both got a large mix wrap each. And OMG honestly the best we've tried... ever! The meat wasn't fried like most places do (it was trimmed off a massive roast out of a oven) which left it juicy & soft. We got tizaki sauce with hot chili & garlic yoghurt (garlic yoghurt was divine!). Customer service was awesome too. We noticed there was finely chopped beetroot in our wraps which brought more freshness. And we even got cheese in our wraps yes cheese for the same price!!! We will be back again next week & every week after. We live in Ilam but definitely worth the trip but if there was 1 closer it would be more! Thanks from the souvalaki addicts we've finally found what we're looking for... A SOLID...

Such an awesome place! We had to go back two days in a row. We had the mix iskender, kebab sandwich, and baklava. Everything was so fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Definitely go for the maxi kebab with chips and cheese - it's so worth it. Beetroot is a really nice addition to the salads. It was great talking to the owner - it's obvious he cares a lot about his business and his customers. It's a really nice spot to have a picnic by the bay, too. Can't recommend...

I appreciate places like Kebab King a whole lot more since we had to withhold during the pandemic! Today I was asked to try Gravy on my chips and was given a Pottle...
