Yesterday i bought a whole roast duck, and some roast pork with BBQ pork. The quality of the duck dropped dramatic. It was using frozen duck, duck meat tasteless all it was seasoning taste, not like the duck they used before, roast pork never.had good cracking skin, BBQ pork yesterday's the best one, but it wasn't excellent.

I think that there has a good chef but he was limited buy the owner try to lower the food cost to make higher profit margin, so they are using some cheaper and poor quality ingredients and short cut to cook, because roast pork if it is cooked from the proper way, it will has fully cracking skin and won't go soft even though put it in the fridge, eat it next day, (I bought roast pork, roast duck and BBQ pork several time there before)

I'm Chinese and my brother was a retired chef, so we couldn't be fooled. We know what is good guality food, that was why we don't go to Chinese restaurants, but only yumcha some times, because most of Chinese restaurants are using poor quality ingredients, they just using msg to cover the quality, Yesterday it was Chinese New Year eve, we love Chinese roast so we got the take away roast duck from this restaurant again, because before it was good, but yesterday they used...

Very happy with this place. The roast duck with rice lunch for $10 was amazing and a good size portion for the price. If you're craving a big pork belly, get the crispy roast pork here! Of course it's not exactly the same as pork belly, but it will definitely satisfy your craving and I daresay it might be better. Portion was nice and big for $22, but they have it on lunch special as well with rice and a smaller portion. We also got the sizzling beef which came hot and sizzling as advertised on a cute little plate shaped like a cow, and the beef was soooooo tender, not chewy like you'd normally get in a dish like this. The vegetable fried rice was just ok in my opinion, nothing special.

There weren't many people when we went as they'd just opened for the day but the service was perfect, fast and friendly, checking on us during the meal and replacing our water immediately after we finished the first bottle.

I would definitely recommend going here, we will be back for more roast duck and crispy...

The service is pleasant if slightly lacking and the atmosphere is alright.

Wonderful food as always we started with wontons and spring rolls which were both very good then for the main we shared roast duck rice noodles, lamb black bean and a beef mixed vegetable dish

The noodle dish was very good with a rich broth, the noodles had a slight chew and the duck was perfect.

My mother seid the lamb black bean was the best she's had in over 30 years which is a big complement as she always orders black bean when it's on a menu.

As for the beef mixed vegetable dish the meat was cooked perfectly and the sauce on it was delicious but the veg was almost entirely bok choy I think there was maybe half a carrot mixed in and what I believe was seaweed. So even though it was a good dish we would have liked if it had alittle less bok choy and alittle more of the other veg.

Oh and of course we had to get some roast duck on rice to take home for lunch...
