To Whom it may concern, my complaint is firstly about the quality of the food purchased at the East side KFC on 26/03/2022. On arriving home, I opened the bucket of 10 piece chicken only to see that it was under cooked and dripping with oil. I tried to ring back to no avail as I understand it was a busy Saturday night, so decided to wait to the next day to return the chicken because of the distance and time it would take to return the bucket would be an inconvenience for myself and my family. We ate a few of the hot chips as we were hungry, however, it was not the same without the entire meal, so we threw the chips away… My second complaint is about the service I received from the deputy manager on staff at the time I returned the chicken. I went in around 10.20am with the old chicken and was interrogated from that point on rather than listened to. As soon as she saw me with the bucket she looked at it and looked at me with a suspicious look I explained the problem, to which she replied, “well you know it is fried chicken?” (As if I had no clue that kfc is fried). I saw no relevance to what I had just said as to rectifying the issue and proceeded to explain how the coating of the chicken was undercooked and soaked in fat, I even mentioned to her that the bottom of the bucket had a pool of fat in it when I opened it. As I explained that I wanted a replacement of 10 chicken (as that is what I paid for) she was unwilling to give me 10 as she said that is not how many were in the bucket. I told her that I did not think that she would want the mangled chicken that my family and I had touched due to covid restrictions. However, I could go home and get it out of the bin just for her. I was asked one question after the other like I had nothing better to do with my time then drive to kfc and try and beg for chicken, she finally agreed and when I suggested that I think she should also replace the fries as myself and my family did not get to enjoy the meal as we had planned, she absolutely refused and wanted those as evidence as well. Before I left, I wrote my name down on a paper as she had asked and when I asked for hers, she refused to give it. I thought that just added insult to the whole situation as I was courteous enough to give her mine. I believe this ordeal could have been dealt with in a courteous manner and have written some suggestions for future reference to your staff, especially your deputy managers: Acknowledge that there is a problem Make suggestions as to how the problem can be solved Be courteous and fourth coming as to who your name is rather than asking for the customers but not saying yours. Read moreTo whom this may concern and managers of kfc hamilton east , - I ordered for our family through drive thru a 15 piece hot& spicy with 5 sides and the new hot sauce and a snack burger with super charge sauce , the guy who took our order was lovely the girl ariana packing our food was chucking our food in and had full on rude attitude I was watching from the window that she was packing the whole thing wrong and didn’t pack hot& spicy we had to ask her for each individual item and she missed our potatoe gravy and walked off saying we don’t have the hot sauce well we paid for it where is your communication skills and customer service the bag was packed so porky with her chucking it in and not reading the order the rudest customer service that anyone can receive working as a retail beauty manager I believe in you treat others how you want to be treated and do your job right we work hard for our money paying $54 for our food and this is not on I complained to the manager had to take the whole order in and complained about this utterly rude girl Ariana she needs training and she shouldn’t be working in this environment if she can’t read and so her job right and her filthy attitude I’m so disappointed I hope she gets quality training you can check the footage and see how rude she was doesn’t matter where you work but this tube off poor behaviour is not on .. kind regards from a customer that comes once a month through drive through but will not be back to this...

We being traveling from Auckland to visit Hamilton garden ordered 16 piece OG bucket at 2Pm through kiosk and had few pieces there at their facility , while eating we felt a taste difference but as we are on busy schedule didn't mind that and travelled to glow worm caves as our ticket time was 4.10 pm and after 4 hours my 4 yr daughter had vomiting and me who ate around 4 pieces had loose motion through out the night at least around 5 to 6 rounds. And then we contacted Hamilton council for food and hygiene and told them we still had left over food to test and verify how old these were and how often they refuse by heating and serving, but their options were they will visit facility for health and hygiene and they never asked us to check the food leftover we had, how incompetent, being living in Dubai for a decade and visiting New Zealand this is far far incompetent considering if it happened there the store would have been inspected the same time and closed in a small time frame.
