I am utterly appalled by my recent experience with Uber Eats and Naughty Naan. I ordered two meals, one of which was supposed to be vegetarian for my wife, who is a strict vegetarian due to her religious beliefs. To my shock, both meals arrived as non-vegetarian, which not only disregards my specific request but also nearly led to my wife consuming something that goes against her deeply held religious principles. This is not just a simple mistake; it reflects a complete lack of respect and understanding for dietary restrictions.
What makes this situation even more frustrating is the total lack of response from both the restaurant and @Uber Eats when I attempted to address the issue. It’s incredibly disappointing to feel ignored, especially when we were left hungry and had to reorder food at our own expense. This negligence is shameful and unacceptable, particularly from a restaurant that should be aware of the diverse dietary needs of its customers.
This experience has significantly damaged our trust in both Naughty Naan and @Uber Eats. It’s disheartening to think that such a fundamental aspect of a dining experience—getting the correct order—was handled so poorly. I sincerely hope that both the restaurant and the delivery service take this feedback seriously to prevent others from facing the same distressing situation. We deserve better, and I will think twice before ordering from either of these...
Read moreThe food is 10/10 but the service is unfortunately really terrible.
On both occasions I have come here for lunch service was pretty sub-par. The first time four of us went - someone ordered a Coke and the waitress somehow tried to bring him out a Tom Collins? It took about 45 mins for the food despite us being the only ones there, so we quickly ate it and left.
Today (second time) there were 8 of us, we were the first to arrive and order. Three people from our table asked for the Strawberry Lassi. The waiter came over after everyone else had drinks to let one of them know they couldn't make it and asked if mango was okay - when he said yes, the waiter proceeded to change all the drinks to mango without asking the other two at our table if that's what they wanted. After 45 minutes our food still hadn't arrived, despite other people who had arrived after us and ordered around us eating theirs. Eventually after 50 minutes, it started to come out. Two of us didn't receive our meals at all. After 10-15 mins of waiting for our meals (and when our entire table had finished their food) I asked the waitress if I could get mine and my friends takeaway. She said "Sure, I'll just grab your plates" and I had to let her know that my food hadn't even arrived yet.
The food is good, but unfortunately when going with larger groups the service...
Read moreAte here recently for dinner and felt compelled to give an honest review. I've been here before because I quite like Indian food nowever I believe they can do way better. First thing i noticed was the lack of greeting when I came in the door. There was no hi or hello/welcome. I had to be the first one to greet and say we had a booking. As food the food, I got a mango Lassi, it was quite nice, would definately recommend. I had a tandoori fish, it was nice but the salad over took 70% of the plate and the fish was the size of about 3 tablespoons, minced up and dry. It wasn't bad per-say, but it was not worth the $20. I also had a butter chicken, the sauce was nice and the amount of chicken was quite generous no complaints there, however I asked for medium spice and I found it quite mild. Either thats what they consider medium or they made assumptions that i can't handle spice because I am white. Just a word of advice if your white an want it spicy. Make that very clear and don't be afraid to send it back if it is not upto standard. Overall it was tasty but there are better options out there for price and quality wise. Also they really need to be more onto it with their customer service. I really wanted to like them but I am not...
