Thai House Express — Restaurant in Hamilton

Atmosphere is lovely, the music is not very loud so it is very sensory friendly. It is spacious and they are accommodating to special dietary requests. The tables are nice, and clean, and there is a good selection of cutlery. Water station is cool and good, and the building is air conditioned. The staff are friendly, and the food is well presented and well made, with a decent selection of optional condiments. My only criticism is meals like the green curry could come with a little more rice as it’s small in comparison to the curry itself, but is otherwise a very comforting meal. The portion sizes are good, despite the comment on the rice. Filling, yet not too much so. Overall good, will come back again. The lighting is nice and not too bright. I would like it if maybe there would be more diversity with the drinks like jasmine honey green teas or the like. Maybe this could be achieved through a seperate drink...

We went to this restaurant last week during the long weekend for lunch and we were served by a rude waitress, who gave us a funny look every time we asked a question regarding menu. For example, we asked her how many skewers are there in chicken satay entree, as we were not sure if we needed to order just one or two chicken satay entrees for 4 of us to share. She responded with a funny look and a moment of silence, and then unwillingly replied with an rude attitude and tone. Cold water was served which is normal but it was a cold day so we asked for some hot water, and she again looked at us funny and came back with two cups ONLY and a pot of hot water for 4 people to share. Highly Recommend! After giving them a 2nd chance because my order thru uber was delivered somewhere else I was disappointed however we reordered for dinner and we are glad we did. I received a phone call from the restaurant to ensure my order had being delivered correctly and it was amazing. First time trying Penang Curry and roti bread with the peanut dipping sauce were our faves! Don't forget the curry puffs wow we even dipped them in the peanut sauce. We've eaten Thai from all over the place but we are now happy to have found our regular go to after recently moving here. Thanks Thai House Express for the all round...
