We dined at Nua Thai Hamilton and had an incredible experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel welcome. The restaurant has a modern yet cozy atmosphere, perfect for both casual dinners and special occasions. Now, let’s talk about the food—we ordered a variety of dishes, and each one delivered on flavor, presentation, and authenticity!

Tom Yum Prawns – This was an absolute highlight of our meal. The broth was rich, tangy, and had just the right level of spice. The prawns were fresh and perfectly cooked, absorbing all the flavors of the lemongrass, kaffir lime, and chili. A comforting and flavorful dish that instantly transported us to Thailand.

Pad Thai – A classic dish done right! The noodles had the perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess, and umami. The portion size was generous, with a good mix of crunchy peanuts, bean sprouts, and tender proteins. A must-try for anyone who loves traditional Thai street food.

Fish Mixed Herb – This dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavors. The fish was crispy on the outside yet moist and flaky inside. The mixed herbs added Chicken Wings – Crispy, juicy, and seasoned just right. The batter was light but packed with flavor, making these wings an addictive starter. They paired well with the dipping sauce, adding a touch of tanginess.

Spring Rolls – A great appetizer! The outer layer was golden and crispy, while the filling was well-seasoned and flavorful. These were served with a delicious sweet chili dipping sauce that added the perfect balance of sweetness and heat.

Sticky Rice – A simple but essential side that tied everything together. The texture was just right—soft, slightly chewy, and perfect for soaking up the flavors of the other dishes. aromatic touch, and the sauce complemented it perfectly. A standout for seafood lovers!

Sarn Thai Style Som Tum (Papaya Salad) – A fresh and vibrant dish that balanced sweet, sour, salty, and spicy elements beautifully. The crunch of the green papaya, the heat from the chilies, and the umami from the fish sauce made this salad an excellent contrast to the richer dishes on our table.

The staff at Nua Thai were attentive and accommodating, checking in regularly to ensure we were enjoying our meal. The service was fast, and despite the restaurant being busy, the atmosphere remained pleasant and relaxed. The portions were generous, and the food was beautifully presented, showcasing the vibrant colors and textures of traditional Thai cuisine.

Nua Thai Hamilton exceeded our expectations with its authentic flavors, excellent service, and inviting ambiance. Whether you're craving a comforting bowl of Tom Yum, a flavorful Pad Thai, or a perfectly crispy Fish Mixed Herb, this place delivers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-tier Thai dining experience...

Yesterday, I had a wonderful lunch at "Nua Thai" in Hamilton with my Japanese friend, who took me there. I received a warm welcome from one of the staff members. I’m sorry I didn’t catch your name. When I first arrived, I felt like I was at home. The restaurant's decorations included a picture of Thai elephants, an embroidered artwork on the wall of the kitchen (I hope that’s the correct term), and some bamboo baskets hanging on the wall.

I had three main Thai dishes: Som Tam in Isan style with authentic Thai spiciness, Nam Tok (pork), and an omelet with minced pork. I also had sticky rice with my meal, which kept me full all day. To drink, I had longan juice served in a small silver bowl, or khan in Thai, which was very sweet and refreshing.

I had a chance to talk with the Thai chefs there, and they were really nice to me. I would definitely give them 5 stars for their cooking.

For anyone in Hamilton looking for an excellent Thai restaurant, I highly recommend "Nua Thai."

Thank you once again for your warm welcome and the delicious meal. I will definitely come back to "Nua...

A great local eatery. Delicious food , recommended Tom yum soup. Food is much more better included the taste and presentation compared to the previous time we had been there several times as we are not local but always support. We decided to stop coming there anymore for months due to lack of taste of the food also slow messy service. However, last week we decided to try again , was so good with new atmosphere, food was so delicious, whole fried fish & aside of salad were amazing. I noticed that they have changed new chefs, the manager said Yes when I asked to find out. She is very friendly and giving a very good customer service. She was alone running the whole restaurant seem so tired and stressed for her.1 point that need to be improved are having enough staffs on the floor to look after guests and greeting them on the entrance during busy hours esp dinner. Overall , chefs are doing a good job only tiny details that needed to improve but...

This review is made after trying it out twice. Upside, it looks and taste delicious. The first time we had the Tom yum soup (traditionally sour 👍🏻), crab meat fried rice (good), pad Thai (good), panang curry (a bit too sweet for my liking). Second time we had main course dishes: garlic pepper stir fried vegetables with chicken (good) and curry style stir fried crab (yes-protein was missing though) Downside: main course portion size isn’t something to write home about. To put it delicately, it is the kind of portion that would be paired with starters and desert. 3 mains, rice and desert is a good portion for two people. Also, the protein sometimes can’t be found. The one thing that irritates me is that the curry style crab sauce is amazing, my crab meat on the other hand is non existent —-please NUA fix this problem. Would return to try the rest of the menu another day. Worth trying out.
