Valentine's Hamilton — Restaurant in Hamilton

If I could give this a Zero I would. I don't even know where to start for the amount of complaints and disappointment not only I have but My Family have for this "socal new" building. Although Myself and My Family use to come to Valetines regularly since the old building and even then it started to go down hill. This socal "new and meant to be improved" Valentines hasn't changed one bit, if anything it has gone even worse. First of all, it is NOT worth $49.00 per Adult, NOWAY. For the poor selection of food choice there is. It is honestly a HUGE RIP OFF. It feels just like walking through a Deli at Countdown, even Coutdown Deli has way more variety to choose from for better price. Second, whatever food there are to choose from, are NOT great at all. Simple food can be great yet, UNFORTUNATELY yours have NO FLAVOUR what so ever, some meats etc.. are also dry. Third, your so called "FRESH SEAFOOD"?. Is NOT FRESH. Anyone can tell all the seafood are just pre - frozen. Fourth, mostly everything is misled that's written on the signs of what the food is. It says seafood, yet it only has ONLY SIRIMI no other seafood eg. Prawns, Mussels etc.. That is NOT seafood, instead of just stating it is only sirimi no other seafood in the product. Also the Guy Owner thats cooking, SHOULDN'T be watching everyones plate like a Hawk, it's HONESTLY RUDE and annoying. It's a buffet for a reason. We are allowed to take whatever as many times as we like, thats what we paid for. There are so many other things about this restaurant that are so disappointing and all the more reason why, it is NOT worth the expensive prices. HONESTLY THIS WHOLE RESTAURANT AND OWNERS, NEED HELP. FOOD is TERRIBLE, needs love and whole lot of flavour. PRICES are RIDICULOUS, way to expensive for the lack of choice, food, taste etc.. ATMOSPHERE is AWKWARD.

If i could rate this a 0 i would! This is the worst restaurant i have ever been to! The food was terrible! Maccaroni and cheese was riddled with onion and salt, the pizza may as well have been a onion pizza, there was no freash food the cheese cake was off the stuff on the top off the cheese cake was sooo chewy, kids were in the ice cream boxes licking thier spoons and putting it into the scoop your own ice cream where everyone alse was supposed to get thier ice cream from wich was disgusting service was slack there was only 1 person on the front counter and 1 person clearing dishes and it was only his 1st day amd he was thenmost polite staff member and yet he was getting all the complaints about things taking so lpng because the counter person was doing all the drinks and serving. the manager was turning people away at 7.30pm on a friday night saying they wernt cooking anymore...WHILE SHE WAS EATING THE FOOD! Thier dress code was unprofessional 1 dish we couldent even tell what it was it looked like brown and black mush that was days old that noone had touched! The venue looked like it hadent had a good wipe down in ages i emailed the manager had no reply i then emailed corporate and got a responce and they said they would get in touch with the hamilton branch in the meantime north shore valentines rang me and apologised souch they offered me a free dinner and bottle of wine because they were so horrified,about 2 weeks later hamilton manager finally got in touch via amil and just said we will work on this that was it no sorry or anything so all in all a terribke valentines! They have lost so many customers they need to do something drastic to...

lovely staff, very accomodating. I had a bit of everything. Seafood: not the greatest but the seafood chowder was DEVINE. Salads: there was a variety honestly not to my taste but that’s because im very picky with what salads I like so you may like them more than I did Meat: the pork was a bit tough, steaks were okay, not a fan of meatballs so I didn’t try. I did go back a couple of times for those bbq ribs 😋😋 Breads: croutons were tough but I guess that’s to be expected. The other breads tho? YUM. Very soft. wish butter was available though. Pizza was alright :) Vegetables: mash tasted like instant mash but I licked my plate clean because of the gravy 🙏🙏 id eat the entire bowl of gravy if I could. Happy with the selection of hot veg and they weren’t soggy :) wish i wouldve eaten the roast potatoes more. The hot chips were yum and salty Desserts: obviously had to raid the chocolate fountain. the selection was minimal but it’s a given for how small the establishment is. they have panna cotta!!!! havent had panna cotta this yummy in ages 😩😩 Condiments: there are sauces available. I was eating the tartare sauce lmaooooo so good Drinks: can get refills for $8ea which I think is pretty fair depending on how much u drink :) i don’t drink alcohol so i cant review that part. They also have a hot drink machine. My family were very happy with it and it makes yum drinks

There’s machines in the back if you want to bring some change to play on them. I think it was $1 for every machine. I would say it is very child friendly, they have high chairs and baby seats. They also constantly refreshed the trays. Hoping to come...
