Dear Sir/Madam, Re: Complaint Regarding Overcharge on Burger King App I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an overcharge I experienced while using the Burger King app on 24 September 2024. During checkout, the app repeatedly buffered, resulting in multiple charges for the same order. I was charged [$71.90 x 2 = 143.80], which exceeds the correct cost of my order. I have attached copies of my bank statement and screenshots from the app (if applicable) to support my claim. Unfortunately, I attempted to resolve this issue through the app’s support service, but I have encountered a passive and unresponsive attitude from the customer service team westgate branch, I spoke to the manager “”Shivastika””” and also known the person in charge called “”Bijaya””” which has left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. The back and forth has caused me a lot of trouble multiple times, I’ve wasted my time and gas money on this and still got no solution. I kindly request that you: 1.Investigate this issue. 2.Refund the overcharged amount to my account. 3.Take necessary steps to prevent this issue from happening again to other customers. Please respond within 5 business days to confirm how you will resolve this situation. If I do not receive a resolution within this time frame, I will be escalating the matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities and dispute tribunal. Read moreWent to Burger King on the 31st December 2019 at around 3pm. The food is as expected from a Burger King joint. Nothing special. Taste is the same as any other Burger Kings. What I like about this place is that it has some arcade games that kids could play with. Great location and size. This review, however, is more about the service and cleanliness... or lack thereof.
This Burger King must be understaffed that day as our food was serve after more than 20 minutes. We also even have to request for the drinking cups for the soda drinks, and remind the staff that we are still lacking one more sundae.
The tables and floor was messy. Lots of trash ie left over food, spilled drinks, empty cups and used Napkins. The messiest food joint I have been in my life. The smell of the uncleaned toilet lingers inside. Bearable but disgusting (visually and olfactory) nevertheless. I just hope the management should review/audit this branch as this will tarnish the franchise name. I cannot help myself to imagine how dirty the kitchen must be during that day.
I also hope some of the patrons of this joint will also be considerate to other patrons. Clean as you go people! Be a tidy Kiwi!
As of this writing, I recommend this place for takeaways but not for people who likes fast food service, warm burger sandwiches and clean tables.
Would I go back there? Probably no. Would I recommend it to a friend?...

Three times they ask you to repeat it, and three different occasions this has happened. I get my food and it's the wrong order. Twice this has happened so ALWAYS CHECK YOUR MEAL AT THIS BRANCH. In addition the staff are overworked, confused and dazed. Perhaps they always put trainees on the till, but if they do they should be wearing their trainee label I would assume. On another occasion the couple in front of me got extremely angry when they ordered an icecream sundae and the cup was only half filled.
