WOW!!! These wonderful people have the 100% best coffee in all of Auckland🏆 None of that burnt, scrapped off the floor taste that so many others do, this is a genuine heavenly coffee experience. All of this from someone who used to live in Wellington where drinking coffee is a religion. Auckland had sadly failed to produce a great coffee destination UNTIL ... these wonderful men at HAODEE - BRAVO!!!! They also gave me a bag of coffee grounds for my garden, for which my garden thanks them. The food is minimal, however, what is on offer is yummy. Update: had coffee here again recently and tried this choco-banana bread thing (I forgot the actual name and wasn’t able to take the photo…) and it was awesome! A must try! 😋 and their flat white is still as good as I remember ☕️

Rarely go out for coffee as it’s gotten so expensive, but getting a cuppa at Haodee was well worth it.

Just $5 for a large flat white is a rarity these days 😮 coffee was very good too, nice ambiance, friendly barista.. what more can you ask for?

I don't really dine at cafes, maybe once in a couple of years while on holiday or something, so can't comment on that side of this business, looks nice though. However I make coffee at home every morning and have been making more of an effort lately to improve with better equipment and methods etc.... Seems the biggest improvement you can make is with high quality freshly roasted beans and what these folks create is FAR superior to anything on the supermarket shelf.
