I ordered from these guys one hour back, one plate samosa, one cholle bhature and one aloo paratha. I mentioned in the order that can you please put extra chutney. I got the order, there was no extra chutney, there was just one real small container which had chutney in it. There was no salt in the food. When i say no salt, there was literally none, it was tasteless literally. I called them around 12:10 on sunday and some lady picked up. I told her the first thing about chutney and she said you need to pay extra for it and I totally understand that thing but they need to bit smart and send a note or something because whoever charges extra they always make sure that they inform customer about it and that’s how it should be but it was reasonable. Then i told her about no salt in the food. Her first response was “we always put medium to mild salt in the food” and i said but there is no salt at all. And then she couldn’t understand what i was saying (clearly) because her response after that was “you need to specify what kind of a spice level you need in your food”. FUNNY. Anyways, then i told her that i am only taking about salt and her response after that was “ohh I don’t work in the kitchen”.AGAIN FUNNY. Whoever’s paying her, that person needs to understand that she is not doing her job properly plus she has an amazingly disgusting attitude which she needs to work on. If it’s a mistake and if you don’t wanna accept it, it’s fine but don’t ever say oh I don’t work in the kitchen because if you are a front face ( which is a sad thing and they should definitely reconsider your role ) , it is your job to face customer queries. A very rare place where dine-in cost additional than that listed price. An example 1 Kachori cost $3 for take away but $3.50 for dine-in. Reason, for dine-in they have to serve in their utensils, hence the extra fifty cents.
Update 30.03.2025 I've had a another negative experience at Bikanervala Henderson. The shop owner's behavior is very unfriendly, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere. While they are the only restaurant in the area offering South Indian breakfast and Indian sweets, the overall experience makes it hard to recommend.
This restaurant is not children-friendly. Food is kept within easy reach of children especially for buffet, yet the owner gets annoyed when they are near it, even if they haven't touched anything.
They have a strict "no sharing" rule for the buffet, even when it comes to small children, and a "no wastage" policy that feels more like an accusation. It's not like anyone is trying to share full plates from the buffet – we're talking about a small vada or idli for a child. Note that we have ordered separate meals for children along with buffet for adults.

Dont know why he was standing there if he doesnt know. When soup arrived,there were mushroom pieces in it. I am allergic to mushroom. Thats fine,my friend had soup and i had lil bit of it.
