Ko & Ki Sushi — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

One of the staff was very rude to me and 2 other friends after we went in after school to get some sushi… when we walked in he didn’t even acknowledge that we were there and gave us the side eye, I didn’t mind his behaviour until he started staring at us as if we were going to steal his sushi… I then asked him politely if I could get a piece of sushi and he then started yelling at me and my friends that we had to get a tray first, I don’t know if he was homophobic or racist but I told him I wasn’t going to buy his sushi if he kept talking to me in a harsh tone and walked out. Shame on this...

Yes, the old Chinese man really rude used to come here quite often. Last time I come. Had flies. Inside cabinet where all the sushi is. told the old Chinese man, but he didn’t believe us and other customers were coming in so he told us to get out and started raising his voice and he’s a very dishonest person he would overcharge you all the time if you don’t keep an eye on how much everything is as he’ll take full advantage of that if you don’t he should be ashamed of himself very disgusting his whole culture will be embarrassed of him...

My favourite sushi store in Waitakere, West Auckland suburb. If you're ever in the neighbourhood, then check it out. You will not regret it. The sushi here is made with love by Kim and his wife Grace and each bite is so flavourful, an explosion of flavour in your mouth 😋 The store is small and intimate but like the saying "good things come in small packages" meaning the small size store is not a good indicator or reflection of the amazing food.
