WestSide Bakery — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

Nicest slices I've ever had and I'm not young! Very fresh, reasonably priced and a wide range to choose from - lolly cake (why did Countdown stop selling lolly cake??), custard squares, rocky road, chocolate fudge, plus all sorts of classics like chocolate crackles and what we used to call American Slice when I was a kid - a layer of caramel on top, then chocolate icing over that. Lovely owners too. Hope this place never closes or changes hands. I always buy a few of their slices when I'm over in Henderson. Had a nice vegetaran pasty one time too, but not sure if they still make those. Glad I discovered this place after trying some other bakeries and finding their slices either too dry or a bit stale, or too expensive. Thank you and keep up...

Some kerbside parking right outside. Bakery and retail has a great range of neighbours - green grocery, dairy and other takeaways'.

The dual entry shop enables customers to peruse and see the extensive range of pies/savouries, buns/bread, slices/cakes and sandwiches. Often the large customer service waiting area is crowded - but the knowledgeable, fastidious team members are accomplished servers that my time from arrival/service/departure feels like moments rather than minutes.
