So while recently visiting family back home here in Stanmore Bay I decided to get some dinner. I went down to brightside takeaways. Firstly they told me they had no menus I could take to look at, then when I rang up and ordered kumara chips, this is what $5 got me! Like I get the cost of living has gone up but this is pathetic.

Order placed via phone, the worker did not discribe the food properly then the worker got very aggressive when we went to pick up the order realising it was wrong. Would not recommend unless you want to be shouted at in a rude unprofessional manner.

4 stars because most of it was good, but the steak toasted sandwich I ordered was a real letdown and not eaten. $5.90, and I got 2 pieces of lightly toasted bread with some dried up strips of steak

Finally got to try Brightside after being on the Coast nearly 2 years. Ordered burgers, fish and chips. The burgers were the usual fish and chip shop quality so a bit average, but the fresh snapper was lovely and the chips were fresh and tasty. As per other reviews they clearly change the oil in the fryers regularly, so everything has that clean taste. I'll skip the burgers next time but will definitely be back for more...

Hands down one of the best fish and chip shops around. The owners are lovely, food comes out fast and is super delicious. They are happy to swap the fish in their burger for crumbed and is totally delicious. The real secret is that their handmade wontons are absolutely amazing. Also of note is their chicken burger, fish burger, lemon pepper chips and the spring roll and curry roll...

Menu is different Instore to what’s shown online. Price has also changed. I thought I had been overcharged but nope..

I got home & what I ordered is also not what we wanted. This has also been changed in store compared to the menu online
