Siam Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Hibiscus and Bays

We came here two weeks ago for the first time in many years. We were impressed with the service (communication can be a bit difficult), the value for money and the food was good. However on returning again last night, our experience was very different. On arrival we ordered two Singa beers and perused the menu. We the spoke to the male waiter and ordered an entree of chicken wings, while we decided on our mains. A few minutes later the female waiter came to our table to take our order and we explained we had already placed our entree order with the male server. After waiting 25 minutes for the entree we spoke with the female waitress and enquired about the chicken wings, as other meals seemed to be going, but no chicken wings had arrived. A further 25 minutes later we enquired again. This time she must’ve understood what we were asking because all of a sudden there was action in the kitchen and we could hear them all repeating “chicken wings”. In the meantime we had ordered another round of two beers. Five minutes later, the male waiter rushed to our table with a takeaway bag containing the chicken wings. When I explained to him that we were eating them here….(absolutely no idea why they thought we’d be taking them away as we’d already been seated at a table for over 50 minutes and were yet to order a main!), he got very angry and said “Are you messing with me?? Are you messing with me!!?? What, are you drunk???” We were on our second beer and had been very polite with them until this point, so to say we were slightly insulted is an understatement!! I don’t think I’ve ever received such rude customer service anywhere! He then stormed back to the kitchen ranting and raving to the kitchen staff. A short time later the female waitress returns with the plated chicken wings. At that point we were in two minds whether to stay for the mains, but we’re both still starving and we’d already been there an hour, so decided to stick it out. The female waitress took our order, who was very polite and obliging. Our mains came a short time later and we’re good. I felt my stir fry was a bit oily and sweet; but their portions are good snd prices still reasonable. Unfortunately the service we received, particularly from the male waiter, who was unnecessarily rude and embarrassed us in front of the other customers, we’ll probably never return here. Which is unfortunate as it’s a good location for us and we were just starting to like the place. Worst customer service experience ever from...

Was given no rice with a curry ordered through Uber eats.....was then told that because Uber eats tale a cut they don't give rice with curries through Uber eats.....this should be explained on the app...she then told us that if we had ordered through the website or phoned in she would have given rice.....the food we received was tasteless and my fiancee had asked for a very mild curry the curry received was too spicy even for me and I love spice and can eat the hottest of curries usually....the peanut sauce was more a paste than a sauce was way to thick needless to say that that's the last they will see of our business....I understand trying to pinch pennies when Uber eats takes a chunk of the pie but we the customer still paid full price sort your s%#t out Siam thai. Used to be good but is not worth the money any longer go to mrs bun and dumpling! Not I'm browns bay and not thai but trust me...

Service was really awful, outside says lunch all 11 dollars but they charged 7 dollars more for take away and we were only told that after paid for the bill. Never have I seen anywhere charge takeaway for that price. Are their take away boxes made of gold? We were pushed to order fast and to leave after got the food. The food tastes soso, the chicken was quite old, overall the meal was quite oily and strong thick flavor, feel thirsty and lost appetite the whole afternoon after the meal, doesn't worth the price at all. Will never come back and don't recommend it who wanna...
