Subway Whangaparoa, if you’re going to read a review please read this. Myself and my partner went to leave a review as we have had MULTIPLE bad experiences despite trying to give the place a chance, and were taken aback by the fact you have had so many terrible reviews with the same persisting issue for a long time without being resolved. I’m sure you know by now what the issue must be (a certain lady with terrible customer service) but the fact that you continue to ignore the issue is abhorrent. She is stingy, customers don’t get what they pay for, we are treated like a complete inconvenience for just asking for a little extra olives, and the tone at which customers are spoken to is disgusting. It’s unclear how this subway is still afloat after what seems to be years of dreadful customer service but I hope that either things change or the business goes under so that no one else is subjected to this. I’m in agreement with everyone else that it’s better to make that extra effort to go to Orewa or Albany instead as they are absolutely lovely there, don’t skimp on the quality, and make a welcoming environment. No matter what is going on in your life, it is your JOB to have good customer service, it’s not fair to take that out on everyone...
Read moreWorst experience! The young guy that was serving me was walking around the store for a good 5 minutes before he decided to serve me. He seemed so uninterested in making my order and was constantly checking his watch. It was only 7pm! I asked to see the differences in the salad bowls he pointed to where the regular would stop. I said I’ll just get that size there. Meaning the size of the large bowl he had pulled out. Assuming he would make me a large I had no problem. He cooked my chicken wrapped in paper without the holder that it usually it’s cooked in. He had added the tiniest amount of filling and when I asked for more he added the smallest amount of lettuce. When putting on the salt he looked into the shaker and did a face like something was gross inside and then proceeded to put the salt in my bowl. I took the bowl outside and realised how small it was. It was just over half empty in a large bowl! If this the salads they’re serving I will happily never go there again! And when I ate this the chicken was stone cold. You would think that I would at least get some hot chicken. Absolutely disgusting service and not a good...
Read moreWARNING!!! Probably THE WORST Subway in NZ!! DRIVE TO OREWA DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$ HERE!!! Come here if you want to be treated like garbage & you want to pay $15 for the scungiest sub in NZ. I have sworn off this subway so many times but keep giving it another go because I love Subway. As many others have said, the lady who must be the owner is incredibly rude & sooo stingy with fillings (look at pics people have posted). One day she was berating a young lady (in front of customers) for being messy ....she was cutting bread with normal crust flaking off. It was so awful I left. I've stood (only customer in the store) waiting for 20min while 2 people make online orders. Yes as everyone has said the older lady is phenomenally rude. You go in smiling excited and leave like, "Wait, did that just happen... did she just talk to me like that? " Then, you open your package and find the scungiest sub in NZ. Can't believe Subway doesn't sort out this spot ... it just brings down the whole...
