Bombay Palace Indian Restaurant & Takeaway — Restaurant in Invercargill City

I ordered of uber eats and the menu is different from the in store menu, so I ordered the fried chicken and chips and a butter chicken,

The fried chicken was a one star based on being a small portion of chips and a few chicken tenders from a pre cooked tedels bag from the shop, for 20 dollars this is ludicrous.

The butter chicken was a decent portion standard for the price and uber eats! I was expecting some quality I'd get in store but was had off taste dis colour a bone and a watered down flavour, I'm not a expert on authentic Indian I enjoy the Riccarton mall style butter chicken that's rich in colour and taste, overall will still eat it all but 50 dollars for two meals .... Not singling Bombay other Indian food here on uber eats lacked in quality maybe because quantity witch price...

Takeout order, cold winter night. I ordered Palek Paneer, Lamb Korma and plain naan. Good customer service - the order was ready very quickly and still piping hot when we arrived home. There was a decent serving of rice and both curries were delicious with the med hot spice level absolutely perfect. The chunks of paneer in the palek dish were perfectly cooked and delicious. The naan was freshly baked and great flavour and texture. I feel like the portions were good value for money. Looks like I have a new fave Indian restaurant. I CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK.
