Meccaspresso — Restaurant in Invercargill City

The rudest most unfriendly lady making coffee, maybe the manager, dark hair. YELLED at me from the counter to not touch the door to the play area infront of the entire cafe and when I asked politely can I not close it? She yelled ABSOLUTELY not. I didn't understand, there was no sign on the door. Being a kids play area they are usually enclosed for safety. She then berated me when I suggested there should be a sign on the door saying not to touch it. Literally felt like I'd committed a crime the way she spoke to me, and felt so uncomfortable I changed my order to take away. Worst experience. What a horrible lady treating...

I got the last of the huge cheese rolls and was so happy as it was so delicious. The custard slice was brought to my table first but would have expected them all together ( years of working in a restaurant was to bring food to the table in one go depending on the different courses).

Food was delish. Staff were slow to clean tables of dirty dishes even though I didn't think it was too busy.

Ordered coffee when ordering meals, coffee didnt come until we were finished our meal and tasted burnt we had to throw it out. People who came in after us recieved their coffee order well before we got ours.
