Subway — Restaurant in Invercargill City

My first visit to this store was a few months ago; the service was great, the store was clean and my chicken sub was one of the best I've had ever.

So why the 1 star? I've been back 3 times, in store, drive through and online delivery and all 3 times the subs had the stingiest amount of salad ever! The first time I thought it was a mistake by a new employee; by the last visit I've realised it's a "new normal" ... Subways Liffey St in Invercargill has DeLIBeraTEly reduced the amount of salad served in their rolls making them limp, unenjoyable and definitely not worth the $11 + price tag.

I wonder if the franchise knows this store has made these changes?

I will visit Windsor or South City for my Subway fix in future. If they too have reduced their salad Subways will be off the menu...

Was in subway today at Liffey street. ordered veggie Patty sub footlong and Large salad bowl. The girl serving us was friendly but manager seem racist didnt greet us straight away said will cost you 2x 6 inch sub ( for footlong sub) we said yep its fine, while the girl was still serving next customer came and ordered bacon sub manager jumped in to help serve which was great to see but she used same gloves for salads that she used to get bacon. for people that are fully vegetarian how this seem like vegetarian options? Also for Food safety point of view, it's not safe. People can be allergic to meat or are fully vegan. I really hope food safety/hygiene gets reviewed in all subway stores, seen same in most...

We really enjoy subway....just had our worst subway experience...instead of being told when ordering there was no carrot , the young man told us when he handed us our bag of goodies. Found substitutes had been put in our foot longs. Peppers in mine and olives in hubby....the look on his face was priceless but then he started gagging! He really hates olives! That's why subway lifted st only got 2 stars.....the young man was polite....service a smidge slow but then it usually is thru the drive thru....and we are finding subway is...
