Billy — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

Have had brunch here twice and ordered a selection of things that were ok (Billy breakfast, breakfast wrap, eggs bene). I would say on a good day this place would get 4 stars as it is reasonable value. Today we ordered the smoothie bowl and it was without a doubt the worst smoothie bowl I’ve ever ordered. Served with a spoon but really we needed a straw as it was liquid in consistency. I took it up to the counter to show them. The right customer service outcome would been 1) an offer to remake it, or 2) an offer to make something else or 3) a refund. None of these were put forward and the barista instead argued with me about the correct consistency of a smoothie bowl. Awful experience and the smoothie bowl was uneaten...

Great parking,plenty of tables inside and outside.Hubby ordered Hotcakes and enjoyed them.I.made the mistake of ordering the Vietnamese salad and the subtle flavors I love in Vietnamese dishes were missing.The dish was far too salty,overwhelmed by the fish sauce.It was inedible.
