Pita Pit — Restaurant in Kaipātiki

Ridiculous. Waited over 40 minutes for my sandwich. Only 1 person working which is so silly. Another lady had asked for a refund after waiting 30 mins also and she was after me. He was doing something on a tablet and then tried to use the same gloves from touching everything to then handle my bread and all my fillings. When i asked if he could please change the gloves and remake it he was so confused as to why he had to & then tried to give a reason why he didn't change them for mine, even though I saw him use them for 3 orders before. You'd think you are going to get a little sandwich fast but waiting 40 mins is crazy, I should've just left but after waiting that long already would've just been more stupid to leave...

Placed order online , told ready at 5:45, pizza and 1 wrap was ready and placed aside while the rest of the order 2 wedges 2 chx tenders and another wrap were being made finally done at 6:00 by then first wrap and pizza was stone cold … wedges were soggy and at $12.00 not a great portion size , chx tenders didn’t even taste like chicken and were rubbery , the pita wraps were decent enough (the first one once toasted again) should stick to just the pita pockets rather than offering sides as they are overly priced and just terrible . Staff was slow seemed understaffed . Won’t be back anytime soon . Very disappointing. Spent $90 something for 2 wedges 2 chx tenders a pizza and 2 wraps …. Pretty pricey for the...

I normally enjoy pita pit food, but the service at the Onewa Rd store yesterday was atrocious. We waited more than 25mins for the first pita of our family order to be made despite the store only having one other customer. It didn't seem like the person on the grill had any idea what they were doing and could only handle one pita at a time. After 30+ mins we got our second pita, they hadn't started the last one, and had missed the extras we had ordered. At that point we canceled the balance of the order and asked for our money back..... that then took 10mins while the staff called the manager who was offsite. We won't be back. Sort...
