BED BUGS!? We booked a six night stay (10th-16th December 2017) at Auckland North Shore Motels & Holiday Park ( 52 Northcote Rd, Northcote, North Shore, Auckland, New Zealand) Waking up after our first nights stay we had multiple bug bites all over our body, especially around the ankles. We assumed they were mosquito bites. The next night we made sure to check the room for mosquito before going to bed, however again we woke up with new bites. On the third morning after waking up with still more bites, we approached management and asked them to change the sheets on the bed. They said they would, however they did not. On the fourth morning we expressed our concerns that the bed may be infested with bed bugs. They came and checked the room and immediately moved us to a new room. When we went to go to bed that night in the new room, we discovered that the sheets were not changed from the previous occupants. There were long black hairs in the sheets (myself and my partner are blond) and they were also stained with what appeared to be a males bodily fluids. At this point we wanted to check out right then and there. Reception was closed for the night, so we asked the on duty security guard for new sheets and changed the bedding ourselves. In the morning we contacted Agoda to amend our booking so we could check out early and get a refund for the night we did not stay there. In the end the manager told us that he had pest control inspect the room and that no bed bugs were found, but did not show us documentation to show that an inspection had been undertaken and then he accused us of bringing the bed bugs in our luggage from Australia. Read moreterrible place to stay never ever stay here! booked and fully paid weeks in advance, for a group of approx 20 people, paid $250 for 2 nights. on arrival, the lady behind the counter gave us our rm key and we settled in, approx hour later she came to tell us SHE had put us in the wrong rm and we had to move she informed us WE had to clean our rm ourselves as we had already "used" the rm! of course we had used the rm(showered)because that was the rm SHE gave us! we had just driven frm wgtn! she refused to give the key to the new rm until WE cleaned and it passed her inspection!I informed her i may have an extra person in my rm she said yes thats fine just pay us extra, which i did BUT she refused to supply a fold out bed,or any kind of bedding! no blanket no pillow no mattress! my partner had to sleep on the floor! stained sheets, fly poo all around light fittings, mismatched light bulbs, peeling plastic on toilet seat and a shower that was either too hot or too cold and the kitchen tap dripped all night long! terrible parking, had a park outside the rm but the staff parked there! we had to park 8 units down! also got refused a refund on the second nights stay! while checking out a lady in front of me was being dealt to by the same staff member as me had to sleep the night in a carpark on the premises as the rm which she had fully paid for was"unavailable" she was also refused a refund and offered a credit valid for 3 months which was ridiculous as WHO THE HELL WILL WANT TO STAY THERE AGAIN !...

The microwave smelt disgusting we refused to use it.||There was poo on the toilet brush. There was old soap in the shower with hair on it.||There were 2 cockroaches in the room as well.
