Allpress Espresso — Restaurant in Māngere-Ōtāhuhu

The Fungi, Arugula & Truffle Oil Pizza is absolutely delicious! I have had it twice and both times it was baked to perfection, with a good amount of cheese on the base and sprinkled with Parmesan. Well balanced with the right amount of mushrooms & arugula (rocket) and well baked, crispy crust and softer in the middle. This is definitely a keeper on the menu! The coffee is excellent also. I have twice ordered a Cheese & Tomato Croissant and appreciate the fact that 4 differently coloured tongs are used to pick up the sandwiches, keeping the one for meat separate. This is very important to me as I have Mammalian Meat Allergy (caused by Paralysis Tick bites on the East coast of Australia) so must not consume anything that has touched red meat. The service is very friendly and helpful, and atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. The only thing I would change is the volume of the music ~ it is rather loud and makes sitting there for longer periods a bit challenging. Thank...

Due to my place of work being at airport this is my regular place to grab a coffee or even light something to eat. Always regardless of which staff is making it the coffee is always good or very good, the cabinet food though nothing flash is well presented and tastes good and I don't know who their chef is but of the cooked food I've had of thier menu it's always been delicious. Some of the best omelette I've tasted!! Keep that chef on!! I can't name all the staff but to name a few there's Kata & Hoani...always so cheerful , and one staff member that really impressed me is the lady Qiuru...I've seen her in the early hours of the morning when there's quite a lot of customers but still she's cheerful and makes her job look so easy while she makes multiple cups of coffee very quickly and with ease like a real pro. She's fantastic!! All in all, well worth a visit even just for a quick coffee....coffee, food, service and atmosphere...

I arrived at Auckland airport on 6/3/25 from Australia and Allpress was my first stop for a coffee while waiting for my hotel transfer. Hoani and Kary attended to my needs making an truly enjoyable decaf latte and both providing exceptional friendly customer service. It was so refreshing to be greeted this way when this is my first trip to NZ. I had an accident in the cafe and knocked my coffee all over the table and myself. Hoani was so compassionate and kind, cleaning my mess up and Kary made me another delicious replacement latte, at no charge. I was very grateful of this kind gesture. I returned to Allpress when I was looking for something gluten free to eat. Kary explained that the kitchen had closed but offered to make me a gluten free toasted sandwich which I so appreciated.
