Pita Pit Blenheim — Restaurant in Marlborough

My first time at the Blenheim store, very disappointed and won't be going back here. I asked for the chicken & avocado, was told it can't be done, so I asked if they even had avocado, and they did. So I asked for it to be included. After some time I was asked to choose some salads, and there weren't many to choose from that you'd want raw. I'd have loved mushrooms, but they were raw. The corn would have been nice grilled, but that too was raw. I was asked about sauces, and I asked for a bit of spice, so the team member smothered the wrap with hot chili and didnt offer any other option. I was offered cheese, but it too was fresh and not melted, but the team reluctantly heated it up for me. I saw some very plain looking chicken come off the grill, and after I asked if my meat had any flavour, to which I was told no.

When I got home, the wrap was the most bland, uninteresting, and I didn't even finish it because it was just a sloppy chili salad on white tortilla with flavourless chicken.

I honestly can't believe this cost over $18. For that money, I could have got a large Doner Kebab with tasty chicken, nice greek sauces, and crisp salads.

I have had good Pita Pit wraps at the Riccarton store, it was much tastier, and I recall the team were more engaging with...

I normally really enjoy pita pit, and eat at them frequently. Today the salad selection was poor. Lots of missing ingredients, some of the present salad ingredients were frozen. The young lad with dyed blonde hair that served us didn’t seem to be having a great day, and it felt like we made it 10x worse by coming into the restaurant and ordering food! I’ll continue to eat at pita pits, but probably wouldn’t return to...

Not one time I've ordered from this establishment has it gone smoothly. From missing food to feeling like I annoyed them by coming inside and ordering, to food that is inedible. How many times can one place apologize but still muck it up over and over again. Honestly after the last fiasco I have all but given up on supporting this business. I will save my pita pit cravings for when I am out of town....
