Love the place know the owner operators personally not only great people...incredible cooking at very underpriced value in a town full of very well to do attractions and food outlets and very overpriced prices.. I recommend this shop to visitors on budgets.... backpackers...or just passing through..locals already know Cheapest and best fish n chips and Asian food in town. Ordered ~6:45pm on a Saturday night and was ready within 15mins. Combination fried rice was tasty although the container could have been filled more. Also ordered sweet and sour pork which came with rice. This is battered in similar possibly the same batter to fish (usually Chinese takeaways use a different flour / batter) but it was crispy and the sauce was very tasty. Did not enjoy the takeaways we ordered from here, being the closest takeaways to where I live I figured it would be great, unfortunately the chips were super greasy, I couldn't eat them, the burgers lettuce was wilted which made the burger taste funny, to much mayonnaise and just tasted way to greasy very strong oil taste, we paid $44 for our meal, I will stick to my original takeaways Mac's in Masterton can't...
