The breads all have Filipino names, I asked the lady behind the counter whether one of them was sweet or savoury, and if there's any fillings. She looked at me like it was my fault for not knowing her cultural food, and said there is no English name, when I asked about the taste again, she went back to stating the obvious while refusing to give any information about what it tasted like. Really good bakery. Walked by the bakery and thought the displays outside were quite appealing. They do cakes, pies, breads, pastries etc. Went in to get a pie for lunch and saw that they also had a selection of good Filipino pastries. I purchased a steak and vege pie. Very tasty and crust stayed in tact. Also got pandesal (nice and soft), empanada (a little dry and thick for my liking but was ok) and ensaymada which was nice and light. Really terrible customer service here. Was getting angry that I was asking about certain filled breads. Then went out the back and made us wait to be served, for quite some time. If she was busy could just say “just a minute” then when I asked for a bag to put our items in she threw pile at me and told me to help myself. And not in a nice way.
