Bad customer service - no warm greeting when we came in, it seems as though we were way nicer than the staff. Food was not worth it for the price and ambiance. Average $24/25+ per dish for less serving in a tiny, unclean place? We could have just gone to another (fancy) Asian restaurant, we would have gotten better service and more food that was clearly not just straight out of from the grocery. We didn't even mind these anymore but what really grinded was my dad got pig intestines in a "soup" instead of shredded pork meat (yes, there's a difference) which was what was written on the menu, but all we got from them was a shrug and "I will let the chef know". What if my dad was allergic? That's it? My parents raised their concerns and all they got was a sorry excuse and no consolation. Owner even pointed out he used to work at the Langham? So? Was that why he no longer works there? Or does the Langham just have a really low quality? I personally didn't complain (other than putting up this review) as I'm the type to just never go back the second time for bad food and service (and won't be recommending to my friends and colleagues either). Didn't help that the waitress kept repeating her templated answer before we even finished talking. Not cool. If they want their business to thrive, then make the necessary changes. But from the sounds of things, they're in denial and things just go out of one ear and...
Read moreA first time to this place, it's a good one if you are craving for a Pinoy dish. Had ordered quite a few. Portion size is okay-ish. Some good for two actually. Bought crispy pata, well, our group actually thought it was quite overpriced compared to other Pinoy resto out there, not too much crispy-ness as we were expecting so that was a bit disappointing. have tried their grilled stuffed pusit, perfectly done. Bam-i and la paz batchoy are great in size. Maybe a 3 person can have a taste of these dishes. Halo halo is good, especially with the ube ice cream! Some of their staff are accommodating, while some seems so serious about life. Maybe smile a bit? It makes a lot of difference to our fellow kababayans when we greet them with warmth, believe me!
Maybe i should've tried their inasal as some comments said it was good, next...
Read moreWe came here for lunch and overall I think the experience was improved from last time we visited here a few years ago. We ordered a bangsilog, sizzling sisig, and singing. The sisig tasted decent with both savoury and tangy notes, although it was fattier than expected. The bangsilog was cooked fine and tasted as expected, I did find the salad on the side was a bit odd. The sinigang was alright. They also serve a bulalo soup on the side, which I was unexpectedly good and this might be the only place in town that gets the proper Filipino taste of bulalo broth right. Food is a bit expensive for what you get but will leave you satisfied regardless. Staff were friendly and quick to serve, but the tables could be cleaned up...
