Domino's Pizza Onehunga — Restaurant in Maungakiekie-Tāmaki

We have had a range of problems with Onehunga Dominos. The last two orders were particularly bad when one order was nearly 3 hours late, and the state of the food was bad – squashed, cold and not properly packaged. When I placed feedback and tried to get a hold of the store for a refund, I was told on the phone, I would have to get the refund online. I tried to get a hold of Onehunga dominos online about it. Someone eventually responded asking if I had received my order, when I replied that I had, and wanted a refund due to the state of the order, I did not get a response. I finally was able to contact the head office in Australia, and they quickly organized a refund. I ordered from them again, (as we enjoy dominos pizza, and I had hoped they had improved on their service), they again were running late, this time only 30 minutes late. However, the pizza was cold, sides were not properly packaged, I didn’t receive sauce with the sides, and the base was completely different than usual. I placed feedback about this order, 2 days later someone responded from dominos. Initially, they offered a voucher with an expiry date of 2021. I requested a refund. Which they said they would organize. I kept waiting and waiting for the refund. Messages going backwards and forwards with the Onehunga store for about 2 weeks claiming they had organized the refund. Finally, it turned out because they hadn’t dealt with my initial feedback from the first order, she had mixed up the two orders, and only dealt with the first order, which had already been refunded by head office. Somehow, she got these two orders mixed up, even though they were two different dates, numbers and amounts. And all because, they hadn’t bothered to deal with the initial complaint. I will never be ordering from Dominos Onehunga again. Disorganized, slow response to feedback or no response at all (this is not the first time, there have been other times they have not responded and I had to go through head office), and quality of food is...

If there was an option to give zero stars, I would. Placed an order for delivery from this place via Uber Eats and didn't receive anything for 2 and a half hours. Worse still, they processed my delivery as delivered within 45mins of ordering which was a flat out lie. Had to call them up and the woman on the phone who answered said my order was still with them and that they would call me back when my delivery was on it's way which I was initially fine with and would've been completely fine with until I was sat waiting an extra hour for a phone call that never arrived; I attempted to call back again after 20mins but was met with no answer. What disgusted me the most was the fact that when my order did eventually arrive, there was absolutely no communication about it being on its way, no call back like promised, no knock at the door, nothing. So it is fair for me to feel disgusted to find my order sat at my front door completely inedible now due to bugs crawling all over it. Don't ever order for delivery from this place because the communication is appalling and will leave you completely stressed out as to where your order and your money has gone, which takes away the point...

The food was horrendous in presentation first off. It looks so bad that I couldn't even tell which pizza was suppose to match with which photo they advertised. The pizzas were drier than a desert since there was no sauce for some reason despite the pizza having been advertised eith sauce. The taste was incredibly bland and souless, like I was eating 0.4mm of depressed cheese on generic bland pizza bread, and the toppings had no taste. The only serviceable pizza was their veg trio which had a smidget of taste and their cheesy garlic pizza which did have the minimum amount of taste required to notice and appreciate.

The garlic bread was okay. Probably the best part of everything because they couldn't have messed that up.

Despite being able to get the pizzas cheap using ubereats promotions, I would highly recommend against dominoes, unless you are literally starving, are poor, and just simply need tasteless calories to enter your system to survive.
