The peanut satay skewers I got were nice but I ordered the yellow curry with chicken and omg I swear it was the worst tasting thing I have ever put in my mouth. I have only recently tried thai and that was in Mt Roskill/Dominion Rd and the sauce was beautiful, but this was a stark contrast.
They said they put fish sauce in everything because it's Thai food but after checking with 2 other Thai restaurants it seems they just made up a story.. When you are eating chicken, you don't want to taste fish, when you don't eat seafood you don't want to taste fish either. Spicy (because I asked), sweet, salty, fragrance and richness all in balance. The tom yum soup was very watery, and the fried chicken was extremely salty—so much so that we couldn't eat it. The pork stir-fry with vegetables was burned, as you can see in the photo I took. The pad Thai and beef salad were acceptable, but overall, the experience was disappointing.
I won't be eating there again.
