Cafe Nosh — Restaurant in Napier

Bad experience here on Saturday. We ordered 2 big breakfasts 2 iced chocolate & pot of tea. The breakfast was ordinary and to be honest very ordinary for the price that we paid @$25.00 each. Anyway the tea and breakfasts arrived but the 2 x iced chocolate went to another table. That table said that they didn't order i.chocolate, they orderd iced coffee. Promptly the waitress delivered the I.Choc to our table. We noticed that the choc had been sipped at and asked for new ones to be re-made, for obvious reasons. They were taken away, but the same were returned again to say that they had not been sipped at. During this time the table who had received them had confirmed that yes they had sipped at them! We then asked for our money back and not to worry about making another one. That's when a rude woman, probably the duty manager screamed at us that she would not give our money back! We said to her that it had been confirmed that the table indeed sipped them and what about covid - she happily said 'nobody cares about covid anymore' lol. So what happened? She made us new ones - what we asked for in the 1st place and what they wouldn't do in the 1st place. For hygiene reasons I would NOT recommend this...

Visiting Napier and thought we would call in for breakfast before heading off for a tiki tour. Food was pretty good but unfortunately the service I received wasn’t. As I handed over my money for payment, the young lady commented “Is this money even real?” to which I replied , Pardon, why wouldn’t it be?. She wouldn’t make eye contact or comment further when I questioned her, which was very off putting, so Im puzzled as to why she made the comment in the first place. In the heart of ahuriri is a well located cafe that had great food and great service. Noshanator all day breakfast 8.9/10

Had everything you need for a decent brunch. Love how they toast the cibatta, it goes well with everything on the plate. Would perfer the mushroom sauce as opposed to the onions and mushrooms that were on the plate. It's still very good.
