Cruel and cold-blooded. I sat by the street outside this shop with a coffee and pastry while waiting for my partner to arrive for the falafel he'd been craving. The restaurant owner came out immediately with an extremely rude temperament asking why I was sitting at his restaurant. I looked up bewildered and immediately apologized but the man gave me a look of disgust and shooed me away like a street animal. The tables were completely empty and remained empty as I waited the 15 minutes on the curb for my parter. I'm a respectful young lady and I've never been treated in such a manner nor would I in my wildest dreams treat another human with such disrespect. I left with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. The civilized well-mannered approach would have been to simply ask kindly as I completely understand that it would be rude of an un-paying customer to just take a seat. The guy and owner was extremely rude, when my partner asked if the meal was lactose-free, he didn’t respond and just looked at her as if she did something horrible. His very sweet waitress had to interrupt and answer the question.
