I am writing this review with extreme disappointment after a shocking breakfast experience at your establishment today.
My wife and I ordered two French toasts. While eating, my wife discovered a strand of hair baked into her sourdough. We immediately called the waitress over and showed her the issue. She took the that part away to the kitchen without a word.
My wife, understandably unable to continue her meal, went to the buffet/side counter to get something else to eat (as she was still hungry). What followed was the most appalling part: absolute radio silence.
Not a single manager, chef, or staff member came to our table to apologize, explain, or even acknowledge the severe health code violation that had occurred. The waitress never returned. There was no offer to comp the meal, replace it properly, or even a simple "we're sorry." It was as if nothing had happened.
This complete lack of accountability and customer care is disgusting. The issue isn't just the hair—mistakes can happen—it's the utter disregard for your customers' well-being and experience. You left us feeling ignored and disrespected.
Management clearly need to learn basic ethics and customer service. A simple apology is the...
Read moreStaff were welcoming and friendly, sadly the rest of the experience wasn't so great. Two eggs bennedicts arrived swiftly featuring rather bland presentation and an over cooked egg each. The spinach wasn't fully cooked through on my partner's dish. Both topped with an unimpressive prepared sauce. Honestly I really don't like to complain about food and typically wouldn't if I had just one of these individually fairly minor issues but all together it just made for an unimpressive brunch, especially for the price. To top it off my coffee was awful. Had a staff member come by our table I would have asked them to remake it as I wasn't going to drink it. After finishing our meals I thought perhaps I was being to petty, made the most of it and finished it anyway. Not a fan of wasting food I've paid for even if it is awful.
Some nice seating arrangements and space for kids but honestly I doubt I'll be back soon given the price and quality. I am more than capable of overcooking my own eggs. I'd rather not pay nearly $20 for the privilege.
FOH staff were pleasant but judging by other reviews the management might needs some fresh light on some aspects of...
Read moreHad bought a pizza from Lambrettas a few weeks ago and i have a lot to say about it because it has probably one of the worst pizzas in nelson, the crust felt like it was frozen shit and the cheese was weird tasting (it definitely wasn't cheese for a pizza), it almost feels like the pizza was bought a few weeks ago and defrosted then put in the pizza oven. for the same price you can go to Salvitos down the road by the cinema and spend the same money for a much better pizza that will taste better. that as well as the lack of variety in pizzas they should borderline not even advertise that the pizzas are "gourmet" or possibly even do them
The pizza i did get we couldnt even finish because it was that bad, countdown has better frozen ones.
To say some good stuff, i liked the smoothie i got, it was expensive but good and the staff are very nice
Id probably pass on this place, there are better ones around at the moment for stuff in and outside the cabinet, dairys down in a few directions, river kitchen by the river for breakfast, sprig and...
