BurgerFuel New Plymouth — Restaurant in North Island

Halal option available for muslim. Just remember to mentioned it while placing your order. Can be quite busy in the arvo but apart from that service is considerably fast. Its quite pricey but you are paying for what its worth. So worth it. Kumara fries quite interesting aa side. Motobites not so much for me and spud fries is just a normal fries. Free car parks infront of shop or just park in the servo. Good environment and atmosphere in the shop. Average time spend ~ 30minutes from ordering till finishing your food. Considering its just walking distance from Mcdonald and still have crowd, so that tells you something. Toilet is clean and maintained too. Few options of burger available.

To order, come to the shop, look at the menu on the wall, from your main to your side and place your order and the counter, get your number and wait on your table. Apart from all mentioned above, do give it a visit and hopefully the taste still the same. Till next visit...

I was disappointed with my meal tonight - i usually order via the phone but as i called this evening to place an order a recorded message said i should order on line. I did this but was not aware that I had to pick up my meal 10 minutes after the order was placed. As i got to Burger Fuel, our family meal was ready and was luke warm. My 3 boys did not mind but i DID NOT enjoy my meal at all.

I spoke to the owner of the store and he pointed out that i was 9 minutes late to pick up my meal even though i explained it was my first time ordering on line and was not aware of the time limit of when you should pick up your meal. He did NOT show any empathy towards my disappointed!! Since i am a repeat customer, i am definitely going to think twice before going back to Burger Fuel New Plymouth!

I told him i prefer the phoning ordering system because we are at least told when to pick up the order!! His answer was they are moving away from phoning...

Leaving this review in the hope that the owner will see it, last 4 visits here have been not great. Unfortunately this burger fuel has lost its hand crafted burger goodness. My burger this evening looked like it had been assembled with eyes closed, half the burger was outside of the bun. On the last 4 occasions including this one, the chips were barely cooked. Some of them almost like biting into a soft pear, crunch but not the good kind, soggy and pale in colour. Previous occasions ingredients instructions were missed. Hate to waste food but couldn't Finnish my meal tonight it was just not nice and it was dead quiet, staff talking amongst themselves alot so no excuse. Burger fuel can be really good, but unfortunately at the moment not this one. Not after anything for free, just want your restaurant to do...
