I went to double d's lunchbox and cafe this morning. I thought to take break to grab a coffee nd use rest room. When i asked a lady worker in regards to rest room, her answer shocked me. I felt so upset. She said that restroom is only for customers to use nd in case if i make a mess in restroom i will have to clean it before i leave cafe. She judged me from my uniform that i m a truck driver nd i will be messy. Stumbled across this burger place after walking up and down Main Street looking for somewhere for lunch . What a find ..old fashioned service , clean, friendly staff and not to mention how great the food is. I had a choice of 3 types of fresh fish of the day and chose the snapper . Double D's is the best food place in Matamata, eaten nearly everything they sell. Special vinegar on the fish & chips. Fantastic sticky date pudding.
