Fast & Fresh Bakery Cafe — Restaurant in North Island

Only bought a single chicken sandwich (just as well anything more and I probably would have burst) very filling, totally blown away by the fact you could actually taste the seasonings salt/pepper unlike most bakery sandwiches and was very delicious... My mate got a steak pie and amazingly it had steak in it and not just a token piece but actually full of it... Both of us were highly impressed with the quality of the food at a reasonable price ... Also greeted by a very nice and pleasant young lady who gave great service. I would actually rate fast and fresh 6 out of 5 stars, and will definitely be going back...

You know those cheap pie shops that use a lot of gravy and little meat? These pies are exactly like those. You see plenty of those types of Chinese owned style bakeries making cheap pies, money saving measures used at every turn. Do not come here expecting an Artisan Pie, especially one that supposedly won an award in 2017. This place ain't it...but can give you a mid priced budget pie for lunch.

I ordered a big breakfast & asked for no sausage, to swap for an extra hash brown or bit of bacon and was told "cant change". Anywhere else I have eaten... this has never been a problem. The food was not very nice when it came out, bacon was burnt & eggs were dry. Also after seeing a couple walk in (obviously regulars) & change their order completely I was even less impressed.
