Hell Pizza New Plymouth — Restaurant in North Island

Lust pizza was ok, nothing special, but highly overpriced at $23.50 I can seriously buy a 5.- frozen pizza from pak'nsave, add a few things to it, bake it in my own oven and it will taste better than this.

Then the Cajun wedges. Heavily doused in some kind of powder that apparently gives this Cajun flavor? It was so strong we couldn't even Wash It Away with copious amounts of liquid. Obviously also contains MSG which I'm not a big fan of. Way overdone on the flavoring. We didn't even finish them. Actually they were disgusting. What a waste of money.

Then the garlic bread. First of all they only use whole meal bread which again I'm not a big fan of. Garlic bread should be made of white bread. And instead of it being sliced normally it was just sliced horizontally. This is obviously much faster to prepare but it's not the kind of garlic bread I would expect if I made it myself. Didn't have enough garlic butter on it leaving at least half of the bread dry as a bone. My homemade garlic bread is honestly 10 times better and costs me $1 to make instead of $7.- Shame on you hell's pizza for even skimping on this and using the wrong bread which you have done for years.

It was at least a year ago since I went to Hell's because I wasn't very happy at that time either. Decided to try again. Prices have gone up quality has gone down.

Do not recommend you go here. Keep your money in your pocket and save up for a trip to Italy where you will find out how a real Pizza actually should taste... Good luck to those people who think this is a...

The meal we got last night for $70 - consisted of deep fried Camembert soo worth it. Then ( I) choose a GF Seed Base for my pizza for $3.50 and I say here DO NOT get the GF Seed Base if you want to be full. The pizza was "Devoured" in like 5 minutes and not worth the remembrance - I thought instantly I WONT choose that again - although it was nice. For the Ambrosia I choose Vanilla Bean Gato - A tiny ice cream in a cup for that price go to the supermarket and buy a tub of ice cream of your choose and it wil still be cheaper -- Out of all the ambrosias "The Holy Doughnut" needs to be tried - lets...

What can I say except fantastic service. The owners are one of kind they happly greet customers with a warm hello and a smile a much appreciated quality that can easily be forgotten. They take pride in their pizzas which is something unique for a large chain. This is all well and good but this hells pizza in particular truely gave me a story that shows just how far they go above and beyond. I had ordered a pickup online, unfortunately I found that my car battery had died and I had no way of picking up the order. I rang the restaurant to ask them if I was able to change the order to delivery. They were compassionate to my plight and more than happy to help. I had pizza in hand in the next 15mins, hand delivered by the owner. If that doesn't deserve 5 stars I don't...
